The MCW seeks to bring people together firstly in small groups to analyse their daily life experiences.  The group encourages a critical reflection in a safe environment and encourages its members to become active in their daily work to improve the situation by acting with others.

Hartlepoolactionplan.JPGIn this way members of the MCW feel empowered to commit themselves to groups that are seeking to change the world for the better.  For some this may be through trades unions and or political parties.  For others it is through more community based groups such as Credit Unions or neighbourhood groups.

We call this method the Review of Life Method in which we SEE life as it is and examine the consequences, who benefits who looses.

We then JUDGE and analyse the causes of these situations, what the values that underpin the causes and consequences and compare them to the values that confront us in the life, teachings and practices of Jesus Christ as revealed to us in the gospels. In this way we realise that we must act to try and transform the situation in order to bring about a more just society.
